New Project

Working on a set of team costumes for the world championships. This lovely knot was created by the great ladies at Feisdress. It’s been purchased for use by the dance school I am making the costumes for. The costume will consist of the cutest skirt ever, and then a cummerbund/belt made out of this knot.

It’s been coming along very well. It’s been a tremendous amount of fun. The girls of the school are in love with the skirt, and it is a delight to make something that so many are anticipating. I’ve been working the last few weeks on designing the skirt and the belt. Now I am in the making phase. Adjusting things at home to accommodate my new work schedule. It’s nice to just walk down the hall to my sewing room. Sweats everyday….sometimes even the same pair!!!! I’ll post more photos as things progress. Just enjoying this whole process…such a welcoming group of people. Very business like, and really appreciate ideas that work. The smiles make it so worth it!!
