Final Picture

This is the last photo I’ll post of this dress unless there is some fantastic feis friends or something.  This was our favorite picture we took this weekend….and mind you thats not saying much because I take terrible pictures!

Clearly you can see that by the big blue blob over her shoulder.  We did move after that, but then she was uphill and I was down…..not very flattering.  So we like this one, blobs and all.   She did her hair in a bun wig because of the heat, but liked it so much,  she may continue to wear it.  It is lighter.  Since she got her hair cut it is almost not an amazing feat of physics to get all of her hair under that tiny thing.  I am getting better at the buns after all the practice for her Amber Perkins classes.

So what’s next?  Well….I’ve got 2 brand new doll dress orders and one still in production.  The first doll dress order is my next item.  I am also in the mental designing stage of some type of corset that will be used for a team costume for one of the schools I work with.  I’ve about got the design worked out in my head, and will begin the drafting process.  I also have a new school that I am working with to plan some school dresses.  That has been very enjoyable so far.  It’s really great to start right at the beginning and see how things come together.  More on that one soon.

I always want to have something in the works, while I am actively sewing.  It really helps with my sense of balance.  Always having something you can switch gears to when my brain freezes or I need a short break.  My next post I’ll explain how I stay organized!
