Whats new?
Spent about two weeks working on these two dolls ensembles for the Chicago Irish Heritage Gift Shop. They should have arrived just in time for Valentines day. I hope they find happy homes with some very special doll owners who will enjoy hours of pretend feising with their dolls. Plus it is always fun to bring your doll in her sparkling solo dress to your next feis to keep you company!!
Next in line for the gift shop are some table runners. I am waiting on the digitized designs from Taoknitter. As always it will be beautiful and original! We’ve worked out all the details, so the table runners should go quickly once I get the designs. I am really enjoying doing some different projects inbetween the embroidery for the TNG school. Really keeps the machine busy, and makes my work days go quickly. It is quite enjoyable!
Dressmaker Colleen O’Neil in Rochester, NY and I have been getting to know each other over the last 6 months or so. It’s been so much fun to chat with her about our work and some possible future projects. Right now we are working on finding supplies that work for us both that we can bulk order at good prices. This helps us and our customers, by getting quality supplies at prices that we can pass on to our customers. Very exciting. Colleen has so much experience, and I think that I can share some new embroidery techniques with her that are going to up the quality of both of our work. We are dearly excited and seem to have a genuine kinship! It’s great to make new friends that really feel like long lost friends!
Dancing season has started for St. Patricks day. So there will be lots of coming and going in the next month. Here is a sneak peak….
